Can't believe it's happening

Hey there! I'm Andrew and together with my best (and just in case he's not, definitely soon to be!) buddy James will be posting things on the site regarding our (and no, we still can't believe this is going to happen!) trip to NZ. Nothing is planned except for a few landmarks, a car and a first night at the hostel which we presumable will be needing after a 26hour flight (with refuelling stop in LA).

I'm blogging to keep a personal account of what happened and also to encourage anybody who ever dreamed about crossing the globe and never got down to doing it for whatever reason. Moreover if anybody is at a loss what to do just browse this blog and you will find a complete record of how you can keep yourself occupied in the (hopefully) best possible way in NZ for 24 days.

Nothing much is planned. We leave on the 3rd December and arrive in Christchurch on he 5th December at noon. A long sleep awaits us and we will depart from Christhurch down south west on the 6th. From then on it's hopefully as random as it can get! The only definitive thing is the flight back from Auckland on the 28th!
